In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Lincoln-Way East Griffins volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Stagg Chargers.
The Griffins (27-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Knights come into the Southwest Suburban battle with a 19-14 record. In their last battle, Lincoln-Way Central went down by Sandburg (Orland Park, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Chargers encounter the Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 13. Stagg will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Lions enter the test with a 19-10 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Naperville North (Naperville, IL).
