Somers Spartans (Somers, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host RHAM Raptors (Hebron, CT), 17-16 in a non-league battle.

The Spartans now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Suffield for a North Central Connecticut battle on Tuesday, May 17. Somers will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-6 league loss to Canton (Canton, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-8.

In their next game, the Raptors clash with the St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 13. RHAM will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Saints come into the battle with a 2-6 record after their 15-7 league loss to Griswold (Griswold, CT).
