The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders (White Plains, NY) and the visiting Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT), saw Archbishop Stepinac's lacrosse team top Newtown by a margin of 17-2.
The Crusaders (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Wheaton Academy beat Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL), 10-9, in a non-league challenge.
The Nighthawks (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Hand (Madison, CT). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Hand beat Sheehan (Wallingford, CT), 14-7, in a league challenge.
