Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL), 8-5 in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now have a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waubonsie Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, May 14. Downers Grove South will face a Warriors squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 7-7.

In their next game, the Friars face the Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 17. Fenwick will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 10-4 record after their 13-7 non-league win over Lockport (Lockport, IL).
