The Marmion Cadets got by the host Providence Catholic Celtics lacrosse team by a score of 11-10 in Thursday's league match.
With the win, Marmion upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Cadets host Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league match on Monday, May 16. The Hurricanes go into the match with a record of 6-8. Marian Central Catholic lost 21-3 in their recent non-league match against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL)
With the defeat, Providence Catholic drops to 3-9 on the season. The Celtics travel to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league match on Friday, May 13. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 7-7. Lincoln-Way West lost 7-3 in their recent league match against Lockport (Lockport, IL)
