Waverly Vikings (Waverly, NE) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Vikings confront the Skutt Catholic SkyHawks (Omaha, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 14. Waverly will attempt to move on its 15-2 season record. The SkyHawks enter the challenge with a 15-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE).
The Bearcats now possess a 12-5 record.
