New Mexico High School Softball - Hobbs felled by Alamogordo

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Alamogordo Tigers (Alamogordo, NM) softball team overwhelmed the host Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM), by a margin of 22-8.

With the triumph, Alamogordo moves its record to 24-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM) to play the Cavemen in a non-league contest on Friday, May 13. The Cavemen come into the contest with a record of 28-1. Carlsbad won 10-0 in their recent non-league contest against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM)

In their next game, the Eagles play the Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 13. Hobbs will attempt to move on its 19-10 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 19-10 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Roswell (Roswell, NM).
