Athens Bible Trojans (Athens, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hackleburg Panthers (Hackleburg, AL), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 13-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waterloo for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. Athens Bible will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Cherokee (Cherokee, AL). The Cougars record now stands at 19-4.

With the loss, Hackleburg falls to 19-14 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Lynn (Lynn, AL) to battle the Bears in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 15-14. Lynn lost 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Marion County (Guin, AL)
