The Lovington Wildcats softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Bernalillo Spartans to 9 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Lovington improves its record to 22-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Valley (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league game on Thursday, May 12. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 15-10. Valley won 9-1 in their recent non-league game against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 12. Bernalillo will attempt to improve on its 21-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 21-5 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM).
