Mechanicsburg Indians (Mechanicsburg, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Botkins Trojans (Botkins, OH), 18-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 17-2 record.

With the loss, Botkins falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Trojans host Anna (Anna, OH) to battle the Rockets in a Shelby County challenge on Saturday, May 14. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 8-5. Anna won 9-5 in their recent league challenge against Jackson Center (Jackson Center, OH)
