The Rovers now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Chippewa for a non-league match on Friday, May 13. Rootstown will face a Chipps squad coming off a 9-4 league loss to Northwestern (West Salem, OH). The Chipps record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, Champion falls to 13-3 on the campaign. The Golden flashes travel to Crestview (Columbiana, OH) to face the Rebels in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey match on Friday, May 13. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 12-6.
