In Thursday's non-league contest, the Skyline Vikings (Scottsboro, AL) softball team overwhelmed the host Cherokee Indians (Cherokee, AL), by a margin of 12-2.

With the triumph, Skyline moves its record to 25-16 on the year. The Vikings travel to Waterloo (Waterloo, AL) to play the Cougars in a non-league contest on Friday, May 13. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 21-4. Waterloo won 8-1 in their recent non-league contest against Athens Bible (Athens, AL)
