East Forest/West Forest Fires (Tionesta, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Clarion-Limestone Lions (Strattanville, PA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Fires now sport a 5-0 record.

With the loss, Clarion-Limestone falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Bradford (Bradford, PA) to face the Owls in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 14. The Owls enter the challenge with a record of 0-9. Bradford lost 15-1 in their recent league challenge against St. Marys (St. Marys, PA)
