The Cloverleaf Colts softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Rocky River Pirates to 6 in the Colts non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Cloverleaf improves its record to 11-15 on the year. The Colts host Field (Mogadore, OH) to clash with the Falcons in a Portage Trail - Metro game on Friday, May 13. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Field won 4-0 in their recent league bout against Cloverleaf (Lodi, OH)

The Pirates now possess a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Lakewood for a Great Lakes bout on Saturday, May 14. Rocky River will confront a Rangers squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Normandy (Parma, OH). The Rangers record now stands at 7-4.
