Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Junction City Dragons (Junction City, AR), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lavaca for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 13. Quitman will battle a Golden Arrows squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Rector (Rector, AR). The Golden Arrows record now stands at 19-8.

With the loss, Junction City falls to 4-7 on the campaign.
