In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Ottawa Pirates softball team scored a nice 13-0 win over the Reed-Custer Comets.

Coming up next, the Pirates confront the Rochelle Hubs (Rochelle, IL) in a Interstate Eight bout, on Monday, May 16. Ottawa will attempt to better on its 18-6 season record.

The Comets now possess a 8-14 record. They play next when they travel to Prairie Central for a non-league bout on Friday, May 13. Reed-Custer will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 4-18.
