New York High School Baseball - Nichols loses to Amherst Central

The Nichols Vikings baseball team (Buffalo, NY), was overwhelmed 12-6 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY)

The Tigers now hold a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sweet Home for a ECIC I outing on Saturday, May 13. Amherst Central will confront a Panthers team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Iroquois (Elma, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 0-16.

Next, the Vikings confront the St. Francis Red Raiders (Hamburg, NY) in a Monsignor Martin outing, on Tuesday, May 16. Nichols will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record.
