The Homer Mariners baseball team (Homer, AK), was overwhelmed 22-5 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK)
The Moose now hold a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kenai Central for a Northern Lights outing on Saturday, May 13. Palmer will face a Kardinals team coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Wasilla (Wasilla, AK). The Kardinals record now stands at 6-3.
Next, the Mariners face the Soldotna Stars (Soldotna, AK) in a Northern Lights outing, on Wednesday, May 17. Homer will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Stars enter the outing with a 8-5 record after their 8-4 league win over Kenai Central (Kenai, AK).
