The Hoover Vikings the host Hudson Explorers baseball team by a count of 6-4 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they host Brunswick for a non-league bout on Monday, May 15. Hoover will face a Blue Devils team coming off a 14-8 non-league loss to Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 15-10.

Next, the Explorers face the Nordonia Knights (Macedonia, OH) in a Suburban bout, on Wednesday, May 17. Hudson will attempt to move on its 12-9 season record.
