Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Springfield gets by Interboro

Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Interboro Buccaneers (Prospect Park, PA), 5-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Springfield upgrades its record to 6-12 on the season. The Cougars travel to Radnor (Radnor, PA) to battle the Raptors in a Central test on Monday, May 15. The Raptors come into the test with a record of 6-8. Radnor lost 17-0 in their recent league test against Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA)

With the defeat, Interboro falls to 9-8 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Strath Haven (Wallingford, PA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 16. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 14-4.
