Platte County Pirates (Platte City, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Park Hill Trojans (Kansas City, MO), 10-9 in a non-league test.

With the win, Platte County upgrades its record to 16-12 on the season.

With the defeat, Park Hill falls to 7-11 on the season. The Trojans travel to Staley (Kansas City, MO) to battle the Falcons in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 16. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 21-13. Staley lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO)
