The South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA) baseball nipped the visiting West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA), 2-1 in Friday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Huskies encounter the Calabasas Coyotes (Calabasas, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 16. South Hills will attempt to better on its 23-6 season record. The Coyotes come into the contest with a 22-9 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Gahr (Cerritos, CA).

The Wildcats now sport a 22-8 record.
