Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Gaels battle the Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 15. Shelton will attempt to advance on its 10-5 season record. The Nighthawks come into the match with a 4-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Oxford (Oxford, CT).

With the loss, Oxford drops to 7-9 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Hand (Madison, CT) to battle the Tigers in a match on Monday, May 15. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 4-12. Hand lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Cheshire (Cheshire, CT)
