The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) and the visiting Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC), saw Cardinal Gibbons's lacrosse team top Wake Forest by a margin of 21-6.
The Crusaders (19-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 19-3 record. In their last challenge, Topsail beat Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC), 12-10, in a non-league game.
