New York High School Lacrosse - Grand Island tipped by Starpoint

May 12, 2023: Grand Island, NY 14072

Starpoint Spartans (Lockport, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Grand Island Vikings (Grand Island, NY), 9-7 in a league battle.

The Spartans now have a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host North Tonawanda for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 17.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Lewiston-Porter Lancers (Youngstown, NY) in a Class C battle, on Monday, May 15. Grand Island will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Lancers come into the battle with a 0-6 record after their 11-2 league loss to Iroquois (Elma, NY).
