North Carolina High School Softball - Tuscola gets by Ashe County

May 12, 2023: West Jefferson, NC 28694

The Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC) softball nipped the host Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC), 4-3 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Mountaineers (12-9) will now prepare for their bout against Enka (Enka, NC). The Jets go into the non-league bout with a 22-0 record. In their last bout, Enka held off East Rowan (Salisbury, NC), 5-1, in a non-league bout.

The Huskies now possess a 14-7 record.

This game is a part of the 2023 NCHSAA Softball Championships - 3A tournament
