Donegal Indians (Mt. Joy, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they host Northern Lebanon for a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 3 challenge on Friday, May 19. Donegal will face a Vikings squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Warwick (Lititz, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 15-4.

With the loss, Ephrata falls to 14-7 on the campaign.
