Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Falmouth Navigators (Falmouth, ME), 20-12 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Gorham for a Class A South challenge on Saturday, May 13. Portland will face a Rams squad coming off a 13-3 league win over Noble (Berwick, ME). The Rams record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Falmouth falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Navigators travel to Massabesic (Waterboro, ME) to face the Mustangs in a Class A South challenge on Monday, May 15. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 3-6. Massabesic lost 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME)
