Maine High School Softball - Gray-New Gloucester bounces Traip

The Gray-New Gloucester Patriots routed the host Traip Rangers softball squad by a final score of 11-1 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Patriots (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against York (York, ME). The Wildcats go into the Class B South battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, York notched a victory over Lake Region (Naples, ME), 6-5, in a league battle.

The Rangers now possess a 0-9 record. They play next when they host North Yarmouth Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, May 15. Traip will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 7-0.
