In Friday's league contest, the Manton Rangers (Manton, MI) softball team overwhelmed the host Houghton Lake Bobcats (Houghton Lake, MI), by a margin of 11-2.

With the triumph, Manton moves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Rangers host Stockbridge (Stockbridge, MI) to play the Panthers in a non-league contest on Friday, May 19. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 2-2.
