The Pleasant Hill Wolves softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Mendon Unity Mustangs to 4 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Pleasant Hill improves its record to 23-7 on the year. The Wolves host Carlinville (Carlinville, IL) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Saturday, May 13. The Cavaliers come into the game with a record of 18-8. Carlinville won 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL)
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Camp Point Central Panthers (Camp Point, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 15. Mendon Unity will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 10-18 record after their 4-3 non-league win over West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] (Winchester, IL).
