Williamsport Millionaires (Williamsport, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA), 8-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Millionaires now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Bald Eagle Area for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 15. Williamsport will battle a Bald Eagles squad coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA). The Bald Eagles record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, Mifflin County falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Huskies host Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA) to battle the Trojans in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth challenge on Monday, May 15. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 17-2. Chambersburg won 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Greencastle-Antrim (Greencastle, PA)
