Monmouth Regional Falcons (Tinton Falls, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ), 23-2 in a league challenge.
The Falcons now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Ocean Township for a Shore A - Central challenge on Monday, May 15.
With the loss, St. Rose falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Purple roses travel to Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ) to face the Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 15. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 1-4.
