In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Mount St. Mary Academy Lions softball team scored a close 5-3 win over the Montclair Mounties.

Coming up next, the Lions encounter the Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, May 13. Mount St. Mary Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record.

The Mounties (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Columbia (Maplewood, NJ). The Cougars enter the Super Essex outing with a 3-1 record.
