Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR) and the host Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks (Mt. Vernon, AR), witnessed Riverside's softball squad tip Mt. Vernon-Enola by a count of 3-1.

The Rebels now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Quitman for a non-league match on Saturday, May 13. Riverside will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Woodlawn (Rison, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Mt. Vernon-Enola moves to 2-2 on the season.
