The Oxford Pirates routed the host North Brookfield Indians softball squad by a count of 19-0 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Pirates (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Auburn (Auburn, MA). The Rockets go into the South Worc Cty - East battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Auburn was routed by Nipmuc Regional (Upton, MA), 13-1, in a non-league battle.
The Indians now sport a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Blackstone-Millville for a non-league battle on Monday, May 15. North Brookfield will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 11-10 league loss to Hopedale (Hopedale, MA). The Chargers record now stands at 5-6.
