Rhode Island High School Softball - Scituate falls to Prout

In Friday's league outing, the visiting Prout Crusaders softball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Scituate Spartans.
Coming up next, the Crusaders encounter the Moses Brown Quakers (Providence, RI) in a Division 1B (State) outing, on Saturday, May 13. Prout will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Quakers enter the outing with a 1-11 record after their 19-0 non-league loss to La Salle Academy (Providence, RI).
The Spartans (1-13) will now prepare for their outing against St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI). The Saints enter the Division 1A (State) outing with a 6-9 record. In their last outing, St. Raphael Academy ran past North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI), 7-2, in a league outing.
