Ohio High School Baseball - Ansonia loses to Newton Local

The Ansonia Tigers baseball squad (Ansonia, OH), was overwhelmed 14-1 in Monday's league contest with the visiting Newton Local Indians (Pleasant Hill, OH)

With the triumph, Newton Local moves its record to 13-6 on the season. The Indians host Troy Christian (Troy, OH) to confront the Eagles in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 17. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 13-4.

The Tigers (5-12) will now prepare for their bout against Milton-Union (West Milton, OH). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 13-9 record. In their last bout, Milton-Union achieved victory over Northridge (Dayton, OH), 10-0, in a non-league bout.
