In Monday's league bout, the Barr-Reeve Vikings (Montgomery, IN) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Wood Memorial Trojans (Oakland City, IN), by a tally of 13-2.
Next up, the Vikings encounter the Loogootee Lions (Loogootee, IN) in a Blue Chip bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Barr-Reeve will attempt to upgrade on its 16-4 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 2-10 record after their 9-1 non-league win over North Central (Farmersburg, IN).
The Trojans (3-8) will now prepare for their bout against South Spencer (Rockport, IN). The Rebels enter the non-league bout with a 7-9 record. In their last bout, South Spencer was overwhelmed by Washington (Washington, IN), 5-4, in a league bout.
