The Edison Wildcats (Richmond, OH) baseball trounced the visiting Bellaire Big Reds (Bellaire, OH), 8-0 in Monday's league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Indian Creek for a Ohio Valley Athletic AAAAA challenge on Tuesday, May 13. Edison will clash with a Redskins team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Licking Valley (Newark, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 17-3.
With the defeat, Bellaire drops to 7-13 on the year. The Big reds host River (Hannibal, OH) to clash with the Pilots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 13. The Pilots go into the challenge with a record of 12-5. River won 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Shadyside (Shadyside, OH)
