In Monday's non-league game, the host Beverly Panthers baseball team scored a close 5-2 win over the Dracut Middies.
The Panthers (7-7) will now prepare for their game against Marblehead (Marblehead, MA). The Magicians go into the non-league game with a 7-8 record. In their last game, Marblehead by Danvers (Danvers, MA), 6-5, in a non-league game.
Next, the Middies play the Haverhill Hillies (Haverhill, MA) in a Merrimack Valley 2 game, on Tuesday, May 13. Dracut will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record.
