The Powers Catholic Chargers baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Central Wolves to 8 in the Chargers league win on Monday.

The Chargers now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Grand Blanc for a Saginaw Valley test on Thursday, May 15. Powers Catholic will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Lapeer (Lapeer, MI). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-7.

With the defeat, Central drops to 2-12 on the year. The Wolves travel to Bay City Western (Auburn, MI) to clash with the Warriors in a Saginaw Valley test on Thursday, May 15. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 16-3. Bay City Western won 4-0 in their recent league test against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI)
