The Cheverus Stags baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Westbrook Blue Blazes to 0 in the Stags league win on Monday.

The Stags now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scarborough for a Class A South test on Tuesday, May 13. Cheverus will play a Red Storm team coming off a 1-0 league win over Falmouth (Falmouth, ME). The Red Storm record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Westbrook drops to 1-4 on the year. The Blue blazes host Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME) to play the Rams in a Class A South test on Tuesday, May 13. The Rams go into the test with a record of 1-6. Kennebunk won 12-7 in their recent league test against Massabesic (Waterboro, ME)
