The Eastern Greene Thunderbirds (Bloomfield, IN) baseball trounced the host Cloverdale Clovers (Cloverdale, IN), 16-3 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Thunderbirds now own a 15-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bloomington North for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 14. Eastern Greene will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Clay City (Clay City, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 9-7.

With the defeat, Cloverdale drops to 6-11 on the year. The Clovers host Sullivan (Sullivan, IN) to clash with the Golden Arrows in a Western Indiana challenge on Tuesday, May 13. The Golden Arrows go into the challenge with a record of 16-2. Sullivan won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Vincennes Lincoln (Vincennes, IN)
