In Monday's non-league bout, the La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY) baseball squad the host Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY), by a tally of 5-1.
Next up, the Cadets encounter the Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial bout, on Tuesday, May 13. La Salle Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The Cadets enter the bout with a 4-6 record after their 14-5 non-league loss to Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY).
The Blue Devils (5-9) will now prepare for their bout against Shaker (Latham, NY). The Bison enter the Section 2 Suburban - Blue bout with a 10-4 record. In their last bout, Shaker was overwhelmed by Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY), 5-4, in a league bout.
