The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME) and the visiting Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME), saw Gray-New Gloucester's baseball team gain a win over Dirigo by a tally of 6-0.

The Patriots (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Telstar (Bethel, ME). The Rebels enter the non-league battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Telstar nipped Rangeley Lakes (Rangeley, ME), 10-0, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Dirigo drops to 4-3 on the year. The Cougars host Mount Abram (Strong, ME) to clash with the Roadrunners in a Class C South challenge on Friday, May 16. The Roadrunners go into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Mount Abram won 12-6 in their recent league challenge against Mountain Valley (Rumford, ME)
