The Frontier Cougars baseball team scored 23 runs and restricted the visiting Federal Hocking Lancers to 1 in the Cougars non-league victory on Monday.

The Cougars (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Belpre (Belpre, OH). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 7-11 record.

Next, the Lancers face the Trimble Tomcats (Glouster, OH) in a Tri-Valley - Hocking battle, on Wednesday, May 14. Federal Hocking will attempt to upgrade on its 0-16 season record. The Tomcats enter the battle with a 8-7 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Vinton County (McArthur, OH).
