The Hall-Dale Bulldogs (Farmingdale, ME) baseball trounced the host Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME), 17-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spruce Mountain for a Class C South challenge on Wednesday, May 14. Hall-Dale will clash with a Phoenix team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Madison (Madison, ME). The Phoenix record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, Maine Central Institute drops to 1-6 on the year. The Huskies host Winthrop (Winthrop, ME) to clash with the Ramblers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 14. The Ramblers go into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Winthrop lost 6-3 in their recent non-league outing against Mount View (Thorndike, ME)
