The Lamar Tigers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Liberal Bulldogs to 0 in the Tigers non-league win on Monday.

The Tigers now own a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Vernon for a non-league test on Monday, May 12. Lamar will clash with a Mountaineers team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Marionville (Marionville, MO). The Mountaineers record now stands at 12-11.

With the defeat, Liberal drops to 6-13 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Girard (Girard, KS) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 12-6. Girard won 12-0 in their recent non-league test against Prairie View (La Cygne, KS)
