The Wayzata Trojans baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Maple Grove Crimson to 7 in the Trojans non-league win on Monday.

The Trojans now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edina for a Lake test on Wednesday, May 14. Wayzata will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Rogers (Rogers, MN). The Hornets record now stands at 10-6.

With the defeat, Maple Grove drops to 5-10 on the year. The Crimson host Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN) to clash with the Cardinals in a Northwest Suburban test on Tuesday, May 13. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 0-11. Coon Rapids lost 9-0 in their recent league test against Champlin Park (Champlin, MN)
